What is The Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification, Inc.?

 

The Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification, Inc. (CLTCC) has created the long-term care insurance industry's only third party professional designation, "Certified in Long-Term Care" (CLTC). The quality of the program is evidenced in the granting of continuing education credits by all states. Our goal is not to teach students how to sell products but rather how to help solve a client's long-term care needs. 

 

The CLTC course reflects the nature of long-term care which is a continuum of care, housing and services people will need when they live a long life. Students are provided the information and training needed to offer guidance to families on a range of issues including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, social services, taxes, law and most important, what will pay for these resources.

 

The CLTC program is third party - we are not affiliated with or funded by any insurance company. Our concern is for our graduates. We want them to have the confidence and competence to work effectively with their clients.
